Directors Profile

Derrick Yeow

Derrick Yeow has started having interest in pastry since he was a child. He has always enjoyed different kinds of pastry and up to a certain point decided to learn how to make them. He has entered several competitions and was able to compete with few of the best outside of the country, like Macau, Hong Kong and as well as his own, Malaysia between years 2000 till 2012. He has worked with different kinds of pastry with different methods. Derrick has also been able to make pastries and desserts infused with alcohol as well as experimented with them. Earning several medals and gaining 15 years of experience, he has decided to share his experiences with the community and open a café to portray his talents and to let the world have a taste of his masterpiece. Mr. Derrick is the General Manager of The Sinful Soiree

EeLaine has interest in making pastry ever since she went to Paris in 2008. She went there to expand the knowledge in F&B, and her interests in opening a Café. She came back to Malaysia, wanting to learn more about pastry & desserts. She also learnt a lot from her mother who makes cakes and Chinese desserts for the family during festive seasons. EeLaine learned how to incorporate the western and eastern way of making desserts. She has helped many café’s and has always wanted to open her own to expand her experiences. She is now still experimenting with new ways to develop more heavenly pastries. Ms EeLaine is the Assistant General Manager.


Chong Kah Wen holds the position as an F&B Manager in the company. She owns a Bachelor of International Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Business (conjoint) from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand in year 2005. She worked as a Controller of food and beverage at Sutton Place Hotel, Vancouver Canada in year 2006 and promoted to become Restaurant and Bar Manager at the same hotel in year 2008. Kah Wen has transferred back to Malaysia in year 2010 and worked as F&B Director in NEROVIVO, a famous Italian fine dining restaurant until 2012. Her F&B expertise, creative spirit, multi-cultural exposure, languages and people skills make her a very flexible and successful Manager and Director, capable of adapting to any environment and contributing to the success of any F&B establishment.


Vu Phan Lan Anh is Director of Marketing. She holds a graduate degree of Science, Major in Marketing, 1997 from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. She joined the management team in 2012. From 1998 – 2003, she has total of 5 years of marketing experience at Secret Recipe, consistently build up the brand name as well as increasing revenue and decreasing costs. From 2003 – Jan.2011, she was Senior Manager at Sales & Marketing Department at Nikko Hotel Kuala Lumpur. At the moment, she focuses on marketing our brand and products to make them outstanding and well-known from others in the same industry.


Sylvia Tan holds the position as a Finance Manager in the company. She owns a Bachelor in Accounting and Financial Studies from London School of Business and Finance in 2004. She started off as an auditor in New York and has transferred back to Malaysia in 2008 as a Market Analyst in Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd. Sylvia then became the Financial Consultant for Aussie Village Pies Sdn Bhd in 2010 until 2012. She has a sincere interest in the market trend and loved fast paced and challenging environments.


Chester Thang Lit Wee has earned International Hospitality Bachelor Degree (HONS)   in Taylor’s University. He has shown keen interest in the IT and sales field and has proven himself well enough to take on this position. His major role is to approve and also handle IT related issues such as designing and troubleshooting. He also created a system called the CT-system that helps the company to improve communications between suppliers. He holds the position of Manager in the Digital Marketing Department.
